A brand-new full-service FDB bank branch is now open, complete with an aluminum-panel façade, large marble stone lobby, 3 cash tellers, 2 non-cash tellers and walk-up ATM & CRM booth. The branch is among one of the commercial banks to open around Zay Cho, one of the most commercially developed areas of the city.
Farmer Development Bank – Mandalay (FDB Bank) is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in Mandalay, Myanmar. The physical address is No.70, 84th Street between 28th & 29th Street, Chanayethasan Township. Lobby hours are Monday – Friday 10 AM – 3 AM. The branch opened on December 29, 2021, and FDB Bank hosted a soft opening ceremony to celebrate with internal staffs and limited partners. The first-ever branch marks as our significant milestone in 2021 for FDB Bank.
In order to establish FDB bank’s foothold in banking sector, the management team decided to execute its nation-wide branch expansion strategy starting from Mandalay where it is the logistic hub of the country with the second-most populous city of more than 1.4 billion inhabitants.

At the soft opening ceremony, the monks help spread their prayers at the new branch at 7 AM early in the morning, followed by reception to selective customers and internal staffs inside the branch. The leadership gave their attendance to the ceremony and gave their speech. With our newly commissioned core banking system and all our branch members are looking forward to serving both personal and business banking customers at the new branch.
