Job Description
  • Efficiently manage day-to-day database administration (DBA) activities using Oracle utilities and tools.
  • Monitor and optimize space and memory requirements, oversee alert logs and trace files
  • Install and configure Oracle database software and associated products with expertise.
  • Create and manage table spaces, user accounts, roles, privileges, and profiles skillfully.
  • Administer data file operations such as addition, resizing, and renaming, along with effective redo log file management.
  • Expand database capabilities through new group additions and member assignments.
  • Conduct routine Database Backups, Recovery, and Performance Tuning to uphold data integrity and accessibility.
  • Execute database patch upgrades and application patch upgrades processes.
  • Identify and resolve performance concerns using AWR and ADDM reports, proficiently generating and analyzing statistics.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with development teams to optimize SQL queries, deliver expert database guidance, and contribute to performance enhancements.
  • Administering Oracle Fusion Middleware/WebLogic 14C, including performance tuning, debugging, servers across multiple nodes, high availability, and architecture, etc.
  • Implements and manages security measures to protect WebLogic environments, including user access, authentication, and authorization.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database administration.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, concepts, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of Oracle database administration tools and utilities.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Standby Databases (DATAGUARD), and Oracle Golden Gate is a valuable asset.
  • Knowledgeable about database backup and recovery methodologies.
  • Experience in administering, maintaining, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting WebLogic servers is preferred.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting languages adds to your qualifications.
  • SQL knowledge will be considered a plus.
  • Background or expertise in the Fintech and Banking sectors is a valuable advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle database administration are a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and effective problem-solving.
  • Good command of English for both verbal and written communication.
