Being in a management level position, this important role will require the potential candidate to
have strong leadership skill, good strategic thinking as well as strategic planning to lead a team
in the execution of the business plan. We are looking for individual with strong people
management skill and the drive to be innovative to create differentiated products. Additionally,
this role will require the skillset and knowledge of developing product plan and tactical plan to
increase our presence and penetration into the cards market. He or she must be self-motivated
to achieve cards business target allocated. Candidate should be well versed with preparing
business plan and budget forecast. Being business minded, he or she should be equipped with
the market information and knowledge of the Cards Business including competitor’s movement
as well as market trend
- Be responsible for the overall Issuing and Acquiring business of the bank.
- Having the good exposure and relevant experience in the Cards, ATMs, CRMs, POS
- and E-commerce business.
- Contributing to the development of our cards products which includes Debit card,
- Prepaid card, Credit card (individual and Corporate) and Virtual card.
- Understands the E-commerce market and with good knowledge of it.
- Strategic planning and deployment of our ATMs, CRMs and POS machines.
- Responsible for developing marketing strategy, product value propositions, pricing and positioning of the range of credit card products.
- Working with marketing department to ensure visibility and positioning of our cards branding and products penetration into the market.
- Performing market research and opportunity assessments on new concepts and ideas. Assessed the viability of new products in consideration of the market conditions.
- Responsible for the Activation, Usage, Rewards and Retention programs.
- Oversee the development & implementation programs for increasing card spends & improving the percentage of active users.
- Oversee the Profit & Loss statement for Cards & Payment Business to ensure that budget and profitability targets are met accordingly.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreement (SLA) is properly maintained between internal and external parties i.e. Cards Sales Team, Cards Operations and Cards Call Center Customer Services etc.
- Design and execute strategic / tactical plans to enhance profitability of all Cards.
- Develop strong working relationships with business partners and internal card support teams.
- Monitor worldwide Cards, ATMs, CRMs, POS and E-commerce trends to generate new ideas on product innovation.
- Work closely with Operations, IT department in providing seamless card products experience to customers with third party vendor.
- Leveraging on the Bank’s digital channel to generate sales across all Omni Channels such as E-commerce, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking and E-wallet.
- Identify needs and business development opportunities for the overall cards business.
- Ensure compliance on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with potential and existing customers.
- Understand the operation workflow of the cards, ATM, CRM, POS and ecommerce.
- Manage a dynamic team and lead the team to meet product innovation timeline, launch of new products and managing of merchants, business partners relationship.
- Review the license agreement and contract with cards scheme provider and business partner.
- Working closely with Finance team for proper and timely cash reconciliation.
- Attend Meetings and maintain correspondences with i.e. Board/Executive Committee/Audit Committee/ Compliance and Risk Management Committee & other regulatory authorities etc. as and when required.
