Job Description
  • Oversee and provide guidance on projects to our in-house team of junior architects, ID designers, site engineers, QS team etc.
  • Plan, organize and direct activities related to location scouting, branch construction and maintenance.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of bank policy and contract specifications. Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems. Investigate potential critical situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Procure supplies, materials and utilities to complete project.
  • Update new branch construction and new location report including new location analysis, construction issue, progress, costs and timeline weekly to Chairman, Senior Management and HODs.
  • Under Chairman and Senior Management’s guidance, need to work closely with our in-house designers to propose, improve and revise new branch indoor layout designs.
  • Reviewing and approving blueprints, drawings, and other design documents to ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the project from start to end, managing the budget, and ensuring that all timelines are met.
  • Ensuring that all contractors’ workers have adequate training for the job to reduce the risk of injuries or accidents.
  • Coordinating work with other contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and designers to ensure that all team members are working towards the same goals.
  • Overseeing all stages of the construction project from planning to completion, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Reviewing and approving plans for materials, equipment, and labor needed to complete the project.
  • Monitor all in-house and outsource ID designers following our branch design guidelines.
  • Accomplish bank’s annual branch expansion target in timely manner.
  • Lead the team to look for potential new locations for branch expansion and weekly report to the Senior Management.
  • Manage the tender process of at least 3 bidding contractors for a new branch and big utilities purchase.
  • Negotiate with contractors in terms of contract terms and amounts
Job Requirements
  • M.E or B.E or Possession of a BSc or Diploma in Construction together with a minimum of ten (10) years construction field experience – with at least 10 years construction project experiences or any equivalent combination of qualifications, training and relevant construction working experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Projects
  • Proven construction engineering and managerial skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of the management of construction sites from commencement to handover Development
  • In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing large construction projects
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and concepts.
  • Flexible to travel upon needed.
